The Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System

The Central Texas Veterans Healthcare System (CTVHCS) consisting of several facilities – the Olin E. Teague Veterans' Center, Waco Veteran's Medical Center and the Thomas T. Connally VA Medical Center in Marlin are all closely affiliated with the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine and, together with Scott & White, provides the clinical training to medical students in the College of Medicine.

One of the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine's key strengths is their unique affiliation with three of Texas' top health care providers. The alliance of Texas A&M with the Department of Veterans Affairs Central Texas Health Care System, Scott & White Memorial Hospital and Clinic, Driscoll Children's Hospital and Darnall Army Community Hospital at Fort Hood allows the College of Medicine to draw upon a wealth of experience in education and patient care that integrates the strengths and resources of each partner to provide unprecedented opportunities for education, research and service.
