It is a time of transformation for Scott & White with the opening of three new hospitals in one year, the addition of new regional facilities and new programs and services for our patients. Our biggest initiative was the construction and opening of the Scott & White Main Hospital in Temple, which opened its doors in January of 2007.

The 500,000-square-foot facility provides patients with a new healthcare environment and new technologies with the same compassionate, expert care that has earned Scott & White its reputation. The new hospital houses teams of medical professionals and specialists to deliver the highest quality care available.

The new hospital extends both our Mission and Vision with state-of-the-art facilities focused on patients, providers and families."

The environment within the hospital enhances the experience, it offers the personal space of private rooms and includes family designated areas in the design, helping all of us to transform health care.

Since its inception in 1897, Scott & White has made a commitment to offer expert, compassionate care to patients in Central Texas and beyond. Scott & White continues to be a leader in advancing cutting-edge medical technology and innovation, and now with the opening of the new hospital, we can enhance that care and service even more.
