Cataract Surgery
A cataract is simply a clouding of your natural lens. As different areas of the lens are affected, your vision becomes cloudy and colors begin to wash out. Sometimes severe glare occurs with and around lights, causing starbursts and halos. Our surgeons use state of the art technology to perform cataract surgery as a 10 – 15 minute outpatient procedure.

Low Vision Rehabilitation
The Eye Institute trains and teaches patients how to most effectively use their remaining vision and provides them with many practical adaptations for the activities of daily living. Our low vision program features state of the art low vision devices. Low vision is defined as decreased visual function that impairs the activities of daily living, despite the best possible vision correction with glasses.
