Children’s Miracle Network – the alliance of premier hospitals for children – is a not for profit organization dedicated to helping kids by raising funds in 170 children’s hospitals across North America. These hospitals provide the finest care, research and community outreach to help millions of children with diseases and injuries of every kind.

These hospitals are available 24 hours a day to help kids of all ages and backgrounds overcome every imaginable disease and injury – from asthma and broken bones to cancer, sickle cell anemia, pediatric AIDS, muscular dystrophy and serious injuries.

Thousands of special events and fund raisers are conducted year-round through a coalition of premier children’s hospitals, media partners and corporate volunteers working together to ensure the children in their community receive the best healthcare possible. In addition to the annually televised Children’s Miracle Network Celebration, corporate sponsors sell paper Miracle Balloons, radio stations broadcast Radiothons and college students hold Dance Marathons. These are just a few of the programs generating millions of dollars each year to provide the life saving care and crucial outreach programs kids in our communities need — and the need is truly great. This year alone, CMN hospitals will provide charity care worth billions, yet these non-profit children’s hospitals depend on community support to help fund their vital services.

Scott & White began its association with Children’s Miracle Network in 1986. Since that time, more than $10 million have been contributed to benefit the hospital through special events, corporate donations, employee projects and the generosity of citizens in Central Texas and the Brazos Valley.

Children’s Miracle Network Brazos Valley is a unique partnership formed in the fall of 2005 between Scott & White and St. Joseph Regional Health Center (SJRHC) in Bryan, TX. Scott & White, the designated Children’s Miracle Network hospital in the Central Texas region, recognized the need for more local pediatric medical care in the Brazos Valley community. Scott & White proudly partnered with SJRHC as a venue to offer these pediatric services. Together, Scott & White and SJRHC are committed to bringing world-class pediatric care right here to Bryan/College Station.
