In the Spotlight

You never know what will walk through the doors of a Regional Family Medicine Clinic. Recently, Dr. Henry’s unique skills were called upon to perform emergency surgery on one of Santa Fe Family Medicine Clinic’s own family members. Well, sort of.  Cindy Fort, L.V.N., brought her daughter Catherine in for an appointment.  Brittany, her stuffed bear, accompanied Catherine. During the appointment Dr. Henry observed that Brittany was in desperate need of emergency surgery to repair a torn seam. We are happy to announce that surgery was successful and all is well in the Fort family. Such is the life of a Family Medicine physician.

Dr. Henry, Medical Director, Santa Fe Family Medicine Clinic has been with Scott & White for 20 years and has performed minor surgery on many patients and was happy to add Brittany to the list. Santa Fe Family Medicine Clinic has six physicians and two mid-level providers who care for families throughout the Central Texas area. Services offered at the Santa Fe Family Medicine Clinic include women’s healthcare, children’s care, routine physicals, minor trauma, minor surgery, and routine medical treatment. In addition, Santa Fe offers an on-site laboratory, radiology, and pharmacy services. Also, offered at Santa Fe are podiatry and general internal medicine services, and a Skilled Nursing Facility.
