Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine

Academic Mission

Since 1980, our Division has included an accredited three-year fellowship program in Pulmonary/Critical Care Medicine. Every year, we offer two positions to inspiring phyicians that are interestd in pulmonary/critical care and sleep disorders.

We are also involved in the education of residents and medical students, and are actively involved in the teaching of other healthcare workers.

Under the leadership of Alejandro Arroliga, M.D., our Division has been involved in clinical research projects in the following areas: critical care, pulmonary hypertension, physiology and sleep medicine.
