The Division of Endocrinology adheres to that Scott & White standard of superior medical care. We meld a group of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurse clinicians, dietitians and pharmacy specialists into a unified team that provides the medical services that you need.

The mission of the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism at Scott & White and Texas A&M University Health Science Center is to deliver personalized high quality patient care for endocrine related disorders, provide education services to patients, medical students, students, resident physicians and our colleagues in all aspects of endocrinology. Our programs focus on the diabetes, osteoporosis, lipid management, thyroid disease, pituitary and adrenal disorders and obesity.

The division provides inpatient and outpatient consultative care for the Scott & White system and also offers an electronic consultation service. The Division of Endocrinology operates the Scott & White Lipid Clinic and Comprehensive Lifestyle Management program; serves as a referral center for patients with endocrine disease; and offers intensive education programs for patients suffering from diabetes.

Research & Education
The division engages in clinical research in the areas of diabetes, osteoporosis, lipid disorders and hypertension.

Office Policies
Co-payments must be made at the time of your appointment. Cancellations must be made 72 hours prior to your appointment date. Please arrive on time for your appointment.

Office Services
Should your doctor feel that you need diagnostic studies, we offer on-site X-ray and lab services.

Insurance Information
You do not need to be a Scott & White Health Plan member to gain access to Scott & White healthcare services. We accept many types of health insurance, as well as payment by check, cash, VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards. Please check with your insurance company to see if you need a referral. If no referral is needed, call 254-215-0300 for an appointment. Please bring your insurance card and identification with you to all appointments.
