Emergency Medical Technician - Basic
Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for administering efficient, rapid, quality care and transport of patients in an emergency and non-emergency setting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Able to work alongside others in a stressful, fast-paced environment.
- Continuous physical exertion is required, including walking/pushing/climbing and lifting weight greater than 50 lbs.
- Able to exercise sound judgment within general policies/procedures and protocols.
- Good customer service skills and the ability to read, write and understand English fluently and clearly.
- Valid Texas driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
Education/Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas EMT-Basic Certification

Medical Communications Controller
Under the direction of the Dispatch Supervisor, this position is responsible for receiving incoming emergency and non-emergency calls and dispatching calls to the appropriate vehicles to assure optimal response times. Relay patient medical history and record all statistical information for Monthly Management Reports.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must possess a strong background in medical terminology.
- Able to work independently, exercise sound judgment within general policy and procedural guidelines.
- Good typing skills and general computer knowledge.
- Able to obtain an EMT-Basic and EMD certification within one year of employment.
- Able to demonstrate customer service skills, and speak and understand English fluently and clearly.
- Valid Texas driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

- EMD Certification (preferred)
