In addition to our cosmetic surgery procedures, we are also pleased to offer clients the luxury of less invasive options. Our certified Skin Care Specialist, Linda Baumann, tailors personalized skin care plans for each of our clients and also offers a multitude of cosmetic solutions for problem areas.
Come in and allow the Skin Care Specialist to get your skin "history." We pinpoint your main concerns and use this as a starting point to healthy, more vibrant skin. During the consultation you will be given recommendations for products as well as treatments to help you achieve your realistic goals.
PERSONALIZED MINERAL MAKEUP CONSULTATION
When your skin needs a makeover or if you just want to try a new brand of makeup, a makeover is a great way to start. The basic makeover gives you advice for your skin type and a recommendation on colors that would look best for you. Our mineral makeup is a skin-friendly alternative to additive-filled liquids and powders. Minerals offer an allergy free and low risk alternative to the standard makeup brands.
FACIALS
To receive a facial is one of the best skin care decisions you can make. A facial cleans, exfoliates, and nourishes the skin. We offer a wide variety of facials to suit your specific skin care needs. Skin care advice is also provided.
MICRODERMABRASION
Many modalities can be used to resurface the skin to improve skin quality, reduce age spots, soften fine lines and treat acne. Microdermabrasion is one such process using diamond encrusted wands to abrade the skin. This painless procedure can be repeated at short intervals in order to achieve a rejuvenated and fresher appearance. This is a quick and easy procedure and does not significantly interrupt your lifestyle.
CHEMICAL PEELS
There are a variety of acids that may be used for skin exfoliation and each have their own specific purpose and effect on skin cells and tissue regeneration. Using our knowledge of these acids, we can customize a resurfacing regimen to accommodate your lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a progressive or a mid depth peel, a visit with our Skin Care Specialist is required. Peels are effective for reduction of fine lines, hyperpigmentation, stimulating and firming the skin and in the treatment of acne.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser hair removal is quick, safe and effective. The laser works by emitting a specialized pulse light that is absorbed by the melanin, or color in a strand of hair. The laser heats the hair in its follicle destroying the hair at its root, without damaging any of the surrounding skin. Because hair grows in cycles, only a portion of your hair is above the skins surface and able to be targeted by the laser during each treatment. We recommend an initial round of 4-8 treatments for each area which can be spaced between four and eight weeks apart. You can expect some re-growth which can be treated with periodic touch up visits. Laser hair removal is safe enough to be used on the face, back, underarms, bikini line, legs and arms.
SPIDER VEIN REMOVAL
Sclerotherapy
Spider veins are small blood vessels that are visible beneath the skin. Options for treatment include sclerotherapy, the injection of a liquid solution directly into the veins causing them to collapse and fade, or laser removal. This is a physician-only procedure.Laser Vein Removal
Laser vein treatment can be very effective in treating unsightly broken and dilated vessels. It is a safe way to rid yourself of spider veins or the redness of rosacea. Lasers work by emitting a specialized light that passes through the skin and is absorbed by the hemoglobin in the unwanted vessel. The laser causes the vein to break up and disappear. Laser therapy is one of the most exciting treatments for removing unwanted pigments in the skin. The laser causes the pigments to break up and disappear leaving you with smoth, clear skin. Laser treatments for pigment or tattoos is not covered by insurance.
WAXING
Waxing is a temporary solution to the problem of hair growth. A thin layer of hot wax is applied to an area of the body requiring hair removal. Typically it can take three to eight weeks for hair regrowth after waxing.
