Scott & White Healthcare Chief Information Officer Achieves Professional Certification

CENTRAL TEXAS – Matthew Chambers, Chief Information Officer for Scott & White Healthcare, has achieved professional certification from the College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME).

Chambers joined Scott & White as Chief Information Officer in July 2011 and is responsible for leading the enterprise transformation to its next generation electronic medical record system. Prior to Scott & White, he held IT leadership positions at KPMG, BearingPoint and James Martin & Co. Throughout his career, Chambers led large-scale business and technology transformation projects with a focus on mergers and acquisitions post-transaction IT transformation, IT strategy and governance architecture.

CHIME is an executive organization dedicated to serving chief information officers and other senior healthcare IT leaders. Its certification program is the only credentialing program that distinguishes healthcare IT executives from others in the industry and represents achievement of the highest standard of professional development for healthcare CIOs.
