Llano Hospital Foundation, Inc.
Llano Hospital Foundation, Inc. was established in the early 1990’s as a tax-exempt supporting organization for the benefit of Llano Hospital, now Scott & White Hospital – Llano.
Over the years, generous friends and benefactors have supported Llano Hospital’s mission of building healthy communities and providing quality healthcare close to home. With the support of donations, fundraising events and memorials, the Foundation has assisted with room renovation, built a canopy at the main entrance of the hospital, purchased equipment for radiology, laboratory and nursing, as well as ambulances for EMS. Community support both with utilization of services offered and through philanthropy is vital in order to maintain the quality of healthcare available today and for future generations. The following giving opportunities are available:
Each year the Llano Hospital Foundation Board dedicates funds for specific projects. All donors have the option of specifying in what manner you wish your donations to be utilized. These could be trust funds, equipment purchases, or other special projects.
Fifteen percent of monies raised by the Foundation goes into a permanent Endowment Fund that perpetually benefits the healthcare system.
A memorial is often given in the name of a loved one, friend, or family in lieu of flowers. Gifts are acknowledged to the family.
Tree of Life
The Tree of Life commemorates individuals or families who lend substantial support to the healthcare system. A bronze tree located on the wall in the hospital lobby is adorned with brass/bronze leaves, rocks, and boulders that are engraved with the donor’s name. A tribute to the generosity of others.
Keeping up with latest healthcare technology is a continual process. Helping purchase a necessary piece of equipment is a distinctive and satisfying way to ensure the best healthcare for our area.
