Hospice Volunteer Opportunities
"Finding out about Mom's terminal illness was the most difficult time in our lives. The caring volunteers at Scott & White Hospice were there weekly to assist us in our journey. They helped us find courage in the face of uncertainty and to embrace the miracles of everyday."
Become a Scott and White Hospice Volunteer. Our Volunteers come from all walks of life and include professionals, homemakers, military personnel, retirees, and college students.
There are a variety of volunteer roles to fit individual time schedules, abilities and interests. Some of our volunteers work directly with terminally ill patients and their families, while others provide invaluable assistance in support areas or with special projects.
Volunteering one hour each week can bring you added job skills, school credit or that feeling you get from donating your time to helping others.
To find out about how you can become a Scott & White Hospice Volunteer, please call Catherine Hausenfluke, Volunteer Coordinator, 254-724-4090 or 512-966-4955.
