Michael J. Moffitt, M.D. provides oversight for each hospice patient; enhancing their lives by promoting comfort and dignity. He is a liaison between the Hospice team and the referring physicians; encouraging communication and respect by his personal example.
Since Hospice cares for people who are believed to have a limited life expectancy, the emphasis on medical treatment is palliative rather than curative.
Dr. Moffitt has been with Scott & White since 2004. He is an Internal Medicine physician and certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
