Diabetes Education Center
The Scott & White Diabetes Education Center was one of the first nationally certified diabetes education programs in Texas. Recognizing that diabetes is an on-going but manageable disease, the center provides a variety of programs and services for individuals and their families.
The Diabetes Education Center is in the Center for Diagnostic Medicine Building, located at the corner of 31st Street and Avenue R.

Physician Referral
To sign up for a diabetes self-management class, patients must first be referred by their primary care physician and then schedule an appointment.
Physicians are required to fill out an Endocrinology Diabetes Education Referral Form 
to fax to Endocrinology at 254-215-0325.
