Alternate Therapies for Urethral Cancer
Your Integrated Care Team may recommend one or more alternate therapies for your urethral cancer if you are not a good candidate for traditional treatments such as surgery, radiation therapy or chemotherapy.
In some cases, alternate therapies may be recommended as salvage therapies for patients whose cancer has returned.

In this procedure, your physician will use a high-powered light beam to kill tumor cells. This procedure is generally performed in your surgeon’s office with local anesthesia.
