Hormone Therapy for Breast Cancer

Your physician may recommend you have hormone therapy to control your breast cancer. Hormone therapy involves taking medications that block the production of estrogen in your body.

At Scott & White, hormone therapy is often used for breast cancer treatment because it’s usually less harmful to your body than traditional chemotherapies.

At Scott & White, we use tamoxifen and aromatase inhibitors as additional therapy for breast cancer. These two hormone therapies work to block the growth of cancerous tumors.
