Breast Cancer Care
Never before have you had so many choices in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer. Women and men alike can find these leading solutions close to home at the Scott & White Cancer Institute.
Breast Cancer Care Team
The Scott & White breast cancer team is a unique model of care, that offers all areas of breast cancer treatment in one location— from education about self checks and mammograms to state-of-the-art radiation and surgical therapies—our patients at the center of our team.
Though you’ll have a team of specialists and subspecialists overseeing your care, you’ll have one lead physician. You’ll know your physician and your physician will know you. Your physician will take the time to listen to you and your concerns, and will talk about your cancer and its effects on you and your loved ones.
Together, you and your physician can then decide which treatment plan is right for you and your quality of life. You’ll receive an individualized treatment plan, customized just for you. Throughout your care at Scott & White, your team will meet regularly to discuss your care and revise your treatment plan based on your needs.
