Wrist Splint

ExitCare ImageA wrist splint holds your wrist in a set position so that it does not move (fixed position). It can help broken bones and sprains heal faster, with less pain. It can also help relieve pressure on the nerve that runs down the middle of your arm (median nerve) into your fingers.

HOME CARE

  • Wear your splint as told by your doctor. It may be worn while you sleep.

  • Exercise your wrist as told by your doctor. These exercises help keep muscle strength in your hand and wrist. They also help to make sure you keep motion in your fingers.
