Weakness

Weakness can be caused by many things. Your doctor has checked for the most common causes.

HOME CARE

  • Rest.

  • Eat a well-balanced diet.

  • Exercise every day.

  • Go to follow-up appointments.

GET HELP RIGHT AWAY IF:

  • There is chest pain or chest pressure.

  • You have problems breathing.

  • You cannot do usual daily activities.

  • You have problems speaking or swallowing.

  • You have a very bad headache or belly (abdominal) pain.

  • The heartbeat does not feel normal or the pulse is very fast.

  • You are confused.

  • You have vision problems or problems walking.

  • You have chills.

  • You or your child has a temperature by mouth above 102° F (38.9° C), not controlled by medicine.

  • Your baby is older than 3 months with a rectal temperature of 102° F (38.9° C) or higher.

  • Your baby is 3 months old or younger with a rectal temperature of 100.4° F (38° C) or higher.

MAKE SURE YOU:

  • Understand these instructions.

  • Will watch this condition.

  • Will get help right away if you are not doing well or get worse.
