Rash

A rash is a change in the color or feel of your skin. There are many different types of rashes. You may have other problems along with your rash.

HOME CARE

  • Avoid the thing that caused your rash.

  • Do not scratch your rash.

  • You may take cools baths to help stop itching.

  • Only take medicines as told by your doctor.

  • Keep all doctor visits as told.

GET HELP RIGHT AWAY IF:

  • Your pain, puffiness (swelling), or redness gets worse.

  • You have a fever.

  • You have new or severe problems.

  • You have body aches, watery poop (diarrhea), or you throw up (vomit).

  • Your rash is not better after 3 days.

MAKE SURE YOU:

  • Understand these instructions.

  • Will watch your condition.

  • Will get help right away if you are not doing well or get worse.
