Platelet Volume Mean
The MPV is a measurement of the volume of the number of platelets which is determined by a machine. Platelets are a factor in the blood that are important in the clotting process. The MPV varies with the number of platelets produced and also the size of the platelets. If the platelets are larger, the number of platelets will be smaller, and if they are smaller, the number of platelets will be larger.
