Evoked Potential Studies
This is a test that focuses on the changes in the activity of the brain waves that occur from stimulating the sensory pathway. The sensory pathway is the pathway from the area of sensation to the brain from the part of your body receiving sensations. An example of this would be the fingers touching hot or cold and then how the brain responds to this.
PREPARATION FOR TEST
No preparation or fasting is necessary.
Shampoo your hair before the test in order to insure a more accurate reading of the test.
