Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

ExitCare ImageThe carpal tunnel is an area under the skin of the palm of your hand. Nerves, blood vessels, and strong tissues (tendons) pass through the tunnel. The tunnel can become puffy (swollen). If this happens, a nerve can be pinched in the wrist. This causes carpal tunnel syndrome.
